AP Human Geography Bootcamp

Looking to get a head start on AP Human Geography for the upcoming school year? Just wanting to swing by and learn something new? This is the series for you! AP Human Geography is a vocabulary and concept application based class, which is the first AP course taken by many- can seem very daunting! Here I will prepare you guys and give you a head start to being successful in the course. No previous experience required. We will cover all 5 units of Collegeboard's AP Human Geography curriculum and I will provide you guys with tips/strategies for the AP exam. I will help you guys start getting prepared by doing review multiple choice questions and free response questions.

AP Human Geography Boot Camp

We will have different sessions (I may add/remove more) where I will go over all 7 units of the Collegeboard AP Human Geography curriculum. We will cover the basic vocab, ideas, theories, and models, go through FRQs and many practice problems. If you are going to take APHG next year, this is a great boost so you will already know most of the vocabulary going into the class, but if not, you'll learn something new!

Unit 3: Cultural Patterns and Processes
Unit 4: Political Patterns and Processes
Unit 5: Agricultural and Rural Land-use Patterns and Processes

*APHG is a vocab-based, introductory social science Advanced Placement course
