Join me for a Pre-Algebra tutoring session as we begin Unit 1: Algebraic Expressions and Integers! In this first lesson, we’ll cover Place Value, Variables & Expressions, and the Order of Operations. I’ll be going through the unit in order, tackling a couple of sets of topics at a time so students can build confidence step by step.

I’m currently an AP Calculus AB student, and I’m excited to share strategies and tips that make math easier to understand while keeping it interactive and engaging. This session will include guided examples, group practice, and fun activities to help students learn and apply what they’ve learned.

Hello everyone! I’m a high school student passionate about both music and science. I’ve taken a wide range of classes, including Jazz Improv, AP Music Theory, Music Production, Biology, Geometry, and Algebra II. When I’m not studying, I enjoy playing the piano, reading, and writing. Apart from academics, I speak both English and Turkish, and I’m currently learning Spanish. In this first Pre-Algebra tutoring session, we will cover the foundational concepts of Unit 1, including:

Place Value – Understanding the value of digits in whole numbers and decimals.

Variables & Expressions – Learning what variables are, how to write and evaluate expressions, and how they relate to numbers.
﻿
Order of Operations – Using PEMDAS to correctly solve expressions, including those with variables.
﻿
Students will engage in guided examples, practice problems, and group activities designed to build confidence and understanding. By the end of the session, students will have a stronger grasp of these essential concepts, setting the stage for the rest of Unit 1.
