About

This series is geared towards preparing you for the Math: No Calculator Section. Often, the best way to practice is by doing official practice tests. At the beginning and end of this series, you will be taking a SAT Math: No Calculator Practice Test to see where you are and how far you have come. In between these tests, there will be sessions where you will be able to ask any questions you have while also getting some practice on the most challenging topics in this section. This series will help you refine your skills and understanding of important concepts!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance is flexible, but you should aim to attend and participate in every session. Remember, you get out what you put in.

About the Tutor

I am a rising senior in high school living in California. I am here to help you in any of your math needs from Algebra I to SAT Math. I scored a 1580 on the SAT (800 in Math & 780 in Reading/Writing). When I am not helping fellow peers out, I love playing sports like soccer and cricket. I also love watching television, spending time with family, and hanging out with friends.

The first half of the session will be spent taking a practice Math: No Calculator Section Test. Then, after receiving feedback on frequently missed questions, I will explain how to do them and simultaneously share some tricks and tips. This test is meant to see where you are know and set a sort of benchmark.

They may bring in questions regarding the practice test taken in the previous session of this series or from outside sources. Or, learners are welcome to just come in and ask about any concepts they are confused about, really anything to help them improve their score!

SAT Math

In this session, I will go over concepts that were most frequently missed or most challenging like radicals, geometry, arcs and circles, and word problems. After providing some tips regarding these questions, I will be entertaining an interactive session where I will be going over practice problems concerning these concepts.
