About

Hello! My name is Moriah, and I am covering SAT Math Prep in this series! I am a current high school junior from Washington State. I used to really dislike Math, but I actually found SAT Math to be kind of exciting and empowering and I hope the learners who attend my sessions will begin to see why. I hate dry classes and boring learning environments, and I want to make these sessions positive, interactive experiences where we can learn and grow together. I am psyched to be working with you! This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the three weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

About the Tutor

I am a high school junior from Washington State, and I'm excited to be a tutor here! I like to make classes funny and informal because I think it takes away a bit of the stress that comes with these important tests. In my own school experience, I really dislike boring classes, because learning should be something we look forward to, not something that ties up our creativity. Any subject can be interesting and applicable when the teacher is passionate and invested, and I'm thankful to have the chance to make that true on schoolhouse!
