What is the time commitment of SAT Bootcamps for tutors?
Tutoring an SAT Bootcamps includes two phases: 1) Tutor Training and 2) Hosting Your Bootcamp. The time commitment for each phase is listed below:
1) Tutor Training occurs in the ~4 weeks before your bootcamp starts and has a total commitment of ~3 hours. There are ~2 hours of online trainings as well as a ~1 hour live training called an onboarding session.
2) Hosting Your Bootcamp will take place in the four weeks before the scheduled SAT (e.g., Sept. 3 to 30 for the October 1st SAT) and has a total commitment of ~13 hours. There are eight sessions (taking place twice a week) with each session lasting for ~75 minutes with ~15-30 minutes of required prep work.
